Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager to organise and deliver an efficient and effective store operation which exhibits professionalism with a commitment to 'Exceptional Customer Service'. Ensure an industrious and rewarding environment in store through the development and effective management of all store staff.
Assist the Store Manager in the smooth and efficient running of store operations.
Maintain the highest possible standard of customer service.
Motivate train, encourage and performance manage all staff members.
Accurately carry out store paperwork to include, payroll, stock checks etc.
Ensure that all relevant legislation is adhered to at all times.
Ensure that sales are maximised and that the costs are kept within budgets.
Maintain strict security control, ensuring all security procedures are adhered to.
Deputise for the Store Manager in their absence from the store.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Previous management/supervisory experience including budgetary control, recruitment, staff development and Health and Safety within a retail or similar environment.
Excellent customer service with the determination to inspire success within your team.
Organisation and planning, ability to coach and develop staff members, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Good standard of education is required and ability to work with in a fast paced customer service environment.
